Dive Team Practice Information
Practice Schedules
Practices are scheduled according to age group. Evening practices are held Monday through Friday from 4:45 pm to 7:45 pm beginning on Tuesday, May 31, and continuing through Tuesday, June 21. Morning practices are held Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am beginning on Wednesday, June 22.
For evening practices before school lets out, please contact us if you have any conflicts. We realize that there may be scheduling difficulties during this time of year.

Attendance
Each diver should attend practice daily, which will improve his or her skills. It is each diver’s responsibility to notify the Head Coach if a practice will be missed for any reason. Parent/guardian assistance is greatly appreciated in keeping the dive staff informed about your diver’s attendance, this helps for planning and assessing skill development.
Family Folders
Each family will have a folder in the boxes stored in the pool closet. During practice, the boxes are placed on a table. Please check your folder regularly for team updates, messages and meet ribbons! Coaches and Team Reps also have a folder for receiving messages. Leave notes and messages including your email address as well as your full name and phone number if a response is warranted.
Bulletin Boards
Check the Sharks bulletin board located near the pool registration desk for announcements of weekly activities, meeting times, special recognition, pictures and meet results. If you have something to include, please contact Renata McHugh at swaynata@cox.net. Lifeguards will post time-sensitive announcements on the dry-erase board outside the guard’s office. These primarily pertain to pool closings, delays and weather conditions.
Inclement Weather
Divers should plan to be at practice on time no matter what the current or predicted weather conditions. If the pool is open, practice will be held. If there is thunder or lightning, the pool will close and reopen according to SRRA guidelines. An email will be sent whenever possible to alert team members of cancelled or postponed practices.
