The Best Pool Party Yet: Leaf-a-POOLooza, Dec 3!
November 6, 2011 Leave a Comment
Calling Sideburn Run Pool members young and old: Do you miss your pool friends? Then come out Saturday afternoon, December 3, for an old-fashioned work party and hotdog fest. We are going to create the BIGGEST LEAF PILE IN HISTORY (or at least the history of Zion Drive) right there in the parking lot. We’ll have music, hot dogs, drinks, and a firepit for roasting marshmallows when we finish.
Mark your calendars and come on out!
When: Saturday, December 3, 12-4 pm (rain date, Saturday December 10, 12-4 pm)
Where: Sideburn Run Pool
Who: YOU! And your kids!
Why: If we get the bulk of the raking done now, we can focus our spring clean-up on repairs and upgrades. That means a nicer pool environment for you in 2012. Plus, who can resist a giant leaf pile? It’ll be fun!
Bring: Each person should bring a rake and a leaf-moving tool (a barrel, a bag, a tarp … something to move leaves to the BIGGEST PILE IN HISTORY in the parking lot)
Compensation: No monetary compensation, but you’ll feel great what with the exercise, the festive atmosphere, the plentiful food and beverages, and the knowledge that YOU WON’T HAVE TO HELP US RAKE IN THE SPRING.
HELP US START A NEW FAMILY TRADITION. COME TO LEAF-A-POOLOOZA!
